Third James Bond film to be selected as a Royal Film Performance picture since its inception in 1946. Though a number of Bond movies have been Royal Premieres attended by member(s) of the British Royal Family, only two prior to 'Spectre' (2015) have been selected for the annual ''Royal Film Performance''. They were 'Die Another Day' (2002) and 'Casino Royale' (2006).
Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a joint prepared statement: ''We are honoured that Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend the Royal Film Performance of SPECTRE and delighted the CTBF will be the beneficiary of the event.''
This World Premiere was attended by Their Royal Highnesses, Prince Harry and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and took place on Monday 26th October at The Royal Albert Hall in London, England, UK.
Former James Bond film franchise alumni who attended the gala Royal World Premiere of 'Spectre' included Bond song singer Dame Shirley Bassey, Swedish Bond Girl actresses Maud Adams, Britt Ekland and Kristina Wayborn, Bond Girl actresses Carole Ashby, Maryam d'Abo and Luciana Paluzzi, fxpert John Richardson, UA executive Jerry Juroe, and Oscar winning dubbing editor Norman Wanstall.
This Royal World Premiere was available to watch via live streaming.
