Jack Jackson walks to Saint Denis Cathedral, to view a Flamboyant facade: not only is this inaccurate with the real cathedral, which has a Romanesque facade, but the Flamboyant style postdates the events of this story by about 200 years. Additionally, the nave of Saint Denis would have probably been a Romanesque nave, if not an even earlier Carolin. The only portion of the church that would have characteristically Gothic features at this time would have been the ambulatory, just being built around this time.
