Lola Brémond, 25 yo, arrives at the « Hôtel des Roches Blanches » for a job interview but she is quickly disillusioned: there has never been a scheduled interview. Meanwhile, she receives a message instructing her to read the local newspaper and she discovers that a terrible crime has taken place in the area precisely twenty-five years earlier, and she discovers that the victim has a perfect physical resemblance with her which is not a coincidence - Lola will eventually discover that the victim was actually her real mother, a young woman whose rumor says that she had looked for what had happened to her - This will be the beginning of a case which, in a disturbing atmosphere of revenge and murders, will plunge Lola into a past she knew nothing about. A quest to discover the identity of her father but also of her mother's murderer as well as her own history.
