Curb is a great show because usually Larry extends run times when necessary to tell the story he wants to tell. This was an unusually short episode which is a shame because all of the storylines were so interesting and definitely seemed to have been able to be expanded much longer.

FINALLY
EvanKevelson7 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Leon gold like always.
Opening with Richard "When will you just die"? Lol Young LD driving the Irishman insane... Not only compared to the season sensational, but LD fashion!
Ruth Berman's "widow privilege abuse" awesome!
17 yo being "abused" by a supermodel!
So not PC! So LD Finally after 7 really mediocre standard of sitcom not even worthy of Larry. He's back.

Tracey Ullman Proves To Be A Brilliant Addition!

I LOVED IT
solomonbowden6 December 2021
Made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, my cringe reflexes exploded but that's why we all love curb. It was terribly funny, I had a blast. Ullman was fantastic, unwaveringly funny. The story concluded satisfyingly. This season has been really quite solid apart from one unsavoury episode being Angel Muffin. I loved it, cringe comedy at its greatest!
A Highlight of the Season
kilgoretrout-2382730 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
While there are invariably some duds in every season of Curb, "Irma Kostroski" is one of those highlights that lead you to anticipate the next season.
It's another one of Larry's classic tangled webs of casual crimes against common decency. There episode features a mayor's race, a repugnant councilwoman, a young and pretentious actor whose purported history of receiving sexual abuse from a supermodel fails to draw sympathy from Larry and his friends, and a what-turns-out-to-be crucial decision to forsake the voting booth.
The unexpected star is the maligned and enraged Irish propmaster, Stan.
When an episode of Curb comes together as this one did, it makes you scratch your head at the times when it doesn't. It must be difficult to switch out plots and situations that don't work once production is rolling. Either that, or it's hard to tell they don't work until it's all shot. Or Larry doesn't care, which is most likely!

Warning: Spoilers
At least we got a classic Curb ending with a bunch of people yelling at Larry as he backs up, but the episode was just subpar. No real payoff either. The idea of Larry not voting was introduced too late for us to care.
