No introduction needed for Erik Griffin!!. He's practically a co-host now. With his seventh appearance, the comedian, actor, and pod-caster jumps straight into it with Rick. They break down being type cast, Erik's late career change, discussing their significant others in Stand Up sets, and we show Rick's "America's Got Talent" audition. This is a real Business-Of-Stand-Up episode that details their feelings toward turning a crowd and how they each go about developing bits. Erik gives us some insight into how he re-formats an opinion by finding a different perspective and molding it into jokes. Rick discusses some of the difficulties he's faced with stand-up and Erik gives him some literal coaching. They discuss how they deal with negative comments and how sometimes blocking is the best approach. Erik encourages Rick to step into his "character" self when on stage and they get into their usual disagreements about nearly everything.

"Ladies and gentleman, it is my pleasure to introduce this next comedian. He's sold out countless clubs, theaters, and stadiums across the globe. Platinum comedy Album. Teen Choice Award. Blockbuster films - and now his biggest achievement to date-- A GUEST ON TYSO. Please make sure your cell phones are off and put your Su-Fi's in the air - for DANE COOK!" The comedian, actor, and creator sits down for a cup of Luke warm tea while Rick inquires about him process, and how he's able to kill at a set even when he's physically or mentally drained. Dane recollects his origin story, growing up on stage with Dave Chapelle, moving to LA, and early career highlights. The conversation somehow goes everywhere and nowhere all at once as the hyperactive duo try and stay the course, but inevitably veer off into goblins, pants on fire, and some country singing. They discus why Dane didn't come on the show earlier due to cancellations - and why rain isn't always just rain - Dane passes on some insightful advice from his dad, the two discuss Steve Martin's career, and why Dane has managed to pick himself out of any career rut.

LAMORNE "I Rise" MORRIS brought his A-game to the couch this week. The actor and entrepreneur continues the theme of guests acknowledging how terrible the TYSO studio/home looks. Nonetheless, THEY RISE to produce this rap-filled-chaos of an episode that goes nowhere and everywhere. Rick inquires about Lamorne's fitness regime and how he stays in shape, while the two ponder the age old question "are you funnier if you're out of shape?" Our host offers up popsicles and corn dogs only to be rebuked, and they argue about whether or not Jay-Z still watches this podcast. Lamorne of course cannot show up without bringing his impression hat, and he gives us a near-perfect Jamie Foxx while recounting the story of how he knows the most talented man in Hollywood. They break down the role of "The Confident Guy" and even do an improvisation session which somehow turns into a tutorial on how to pick up chicks (poorly). Honestly the second half of this episode is basically 'Hamilton' in podcast form as the duo decide to freestyle rap pretty much everything.
