Lennox opens up a small amount to his therapist, and begins facing up to his personal demons. It's also the day of The Funeral, Lennox and Stuart deal with the day the best way that they can.
Powerful and hard hitting, this maybe wasn't the conclusion I was hoping for or expecting, but it was still a powerful conclusion.
It maybe took its eye off the actual crime for the most part, but they definitely made up for it in other ways.
The focus shifted off the crime, and onto Lennox's personal story and his past, after he opens up to his therapist, he starts to face up to his own personal demons.
Dougray Scott delivered another masterclass performance, the scene in the railway tunnel was unbelievable, as was the scene where he finally opened up to Trudi, that was exceptional.
There's definitely so much scope for series two, I genuinely cannot wait to sit down and watch it.
8/10.
