Edward Norton’s The Incredible Hulk was not as bad of a movie, nor was Norton a bad Hulk. In fact, many Marvel fans would love to have him as the Green Goliath instead of MCU’s Mark Ruffalo. Since the past decade, fans have been wanting to see more of the meaner and scarier Hulk instead of Ruffalo’s toned-down, friendlier version that we got in recent years.

So while fans might never get Edward Norton’s version of Hulk back, a notorious villain from the movie will be making his way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Known as Mr Blue, Samuel Sterns will be the antagonist in Harrison Ford’s MCU debut film, Captain America: Brave New World.

MCU adapted over 50 villains from the pages of comics at this point. Some have been disappointments like Dar-Benn, and some were brilliantly executed like the last year’s High Evolutionary. Still, there’s plenty to introduce.
While we’re waiting for the Beyonder and Doctor Doom, fans on Ranker took on the opportunity to explore the pages of comics to vote on 10 Marvel villains that are either too grotesque or messed up to be introduced to the MCU, so let’s see what the names are.
10. Demogoblin
Demogoblin hails from Spider-Man’s rouge gallery. He is a twisted version of the villain Green Goblin, having been transformed into a demonic creature after making a pact with a demon. Demogoblin possesses superhuman strength, agility, and endurance, along with the ability to generate and control mystical fire. He’s not overly scary all things considered but I do see why fans prefer...

A minion nears his powerful master with good news. Spider-Man has gone, leaving the city unprotected. “This means the time has come to proceed with my master plan!” he responds, before explaining his plot to consolidate power.
These types of pronouncements aren’t uncommon among supervillains, many of whom have menaced the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Everyone from Kaecilius in Doctor Strange to Thanos across the Infinity Saga has launched a major battle to destroy their enemies and conquer the world.
But the guy we’re talking about here has no such lofty intentions. As 1967’s Amazing Spider-Man #50 demonstrates, Wilson Fisk endeavors to be no more than the Kingpin of Crime, the mastermind behind all of the illegal activities in New York City. And those limited ambitions make Fisk’s return to the MCU so monumental. Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise his role as Wilson Fisk in Echo,...

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige wasn’t initially on board with casting one Incredible Hulk star.
She-Hulk delivered some major casting inclusions from across the MCU by featuring Tim Roth’s Abomination, Benedict Wong’s Wong, and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil across its nine episodes.
Roth’s return as Abomination was a particularly surprising inclusion, as this was only his second MCU entry since 2008, and the first since his short appearance in 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
