This episode was fine. Nothing mind-blowing but at least we had some answer, a touch of humor and, of course, Willow. That is why it is an improvement over the first episode. My main beef with the story is the character of Sorsha. In the movie she was quite stupid but it was understandable because she was young and had been rised by an evil all-powerful witch. She was a good fighter and a brave one but she followed evil and then she turned coats, mostly because she fell in love but also because she did not want to hurt a baby. But in this show it appears that all her decisions were wrong. She sent Madmartigan on a dangerous quest. She refused to have Elora trained. She banned magic! She hide her in a stupid way and did not even watch her enough. In the first chapter she insulted both of her children, disregarding their opinions. And then he send someone who has been corrupted to find Elora, because apparently all the years have not taught her how to spot evil magic.
Luckily I am beginning to like Jade, Boorman, Graydon and even Elora. I will need more time to warm to the princess, but that is fine. She is a brat and she should be. Let's hope next episodes are better.
