- Vince has to get his license while promoting his new movie. Lloyd demands a promotion. Eric considers buying his own house.
- After his post-Medellin difficulties, Vince (Adrian Grenier) is on the fast track once again, as he prepares for a driving test as well as an appearance with Jay Leno to promote his new movie Gatsby, directed by Martin Scorsese. Vince is worried that he doesn't have any good stories to share on the Jay Leno show. At his driving test, Vince messes up his 3 point turn. But the person evaluating his performance is a big fan of Vince and the Great Gatsby. Vince bombs the 3 point turn completely, but is passed when he offers 2 passes to the instructor to the premiere of his Gatsby movie The Leno show is going great, Vince tells his driving test story, which he had to take because he is the lead in his next movie based on Ferrari driver Enzo.
Sloan calls E out of the blue and suggests that he look at an apartment that her friend is vacating. Sloan knows E is in the market for a rental accommodation. Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) suggests that Eric (Kevin Connolly) get his own place but worries about how it will affect his friends. Sloan is also flirting with E, but not really sure where this is going. Sloan and E are both in relationships at this point.
Sloan is pushing E to move out, and forces him to talk to Vince about getting his own place. E claims that Vince has never lived alone, while Vince claims that it is E who has never lived by himself. Vince says that he will be fine, and encourages E to get his own place. E and Sloan go for a night out, and Sloan invites into her place for a drink. Jamie is encouraging Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) to not be Vince's driver for his whole life. Drama (Kevin Dillon) already has his own place.
For the first time in his life, Vince finds himself all alone in his big mansion.
Lloyd (Rex Lee) threatens to quit if Ari (Jeremy Piven) does not promote him. Lloyd has been at the assistant desk for over 3 years and believes that he has paid his dues. He threatens to join another agency or even his father's winery business in Napa Valley. Lloyd is angry when Ari wont give Lloyd a straight answer, so he goes around Ari to speak with Mrs Melissa Gold (Perrey Reeves) & tells her that he is leaving the agency. Ari speaks to Andrew, and they both had to work hard for their promotions. Ari is not sure if Lloyd is ready to be an agent yet. He is the best assistant Ari has had ever. Ari counters with a proposal of his own. Ari tells Lloyd to do everything he asks for the next 100 days to earn the promotion. This includes sitting on Ari's porch at 10 pm, for 4 hours, before Ari would even meet Lloyd As part of the 100 days challenge, Lloyd has to drop 15 pounds.
Andrew Klein (Gary Cole) is doing well at the Miller-Gold agency, and is signing new clients & feeling confident of his future.
