- GoofsA scene set in Mark Hofmann's childhood bedroom shows a model dinosaur on a shelf. Previous dialogue indicates that this would have been something his parents would never have allowed.
- Quotes
Mark Hofmann: As far back as I can remember, I have liked to impress people through my deceptions. Fooling people gave me a sense of power and superiority. When I was about 12 years old, I began collecting coins. Soon afterwards, I figured out some crude ways to fool other collectors by altering coins and make them appear more desirable. By the time I was 14, I had developed a forgery technique which I felt was undetectable. Anyway, it ended up going to the Treasury Department where it was pronounced genuine. In my view, if the Treasury Department pronounces it genuine, then it is genuine by definition. It's not so much what is genuine and what isn't, as what people believe is genuine.

That was a switch up, this documentary series has gone from a mild mannered case of religious document dealing, to something altogether more serious.
How on Earth did he go from being a well liked, family man, and fraudster, to a diabolical, calculating killer? We learn about the childhoods family life, what on Earth triggered this?
The interviews are the most shocking part, and incredibly hard to digest, we have seen shocking footage of what those bombs rid, and we hear a mild mannered, calm individual discussing the crimes, as if talking about a parking fine, very chilling.
I knew nothing about this case, it's been a well presented, interesting series, 8/10.
