Indian Ocean, the name belongs to one of the vast ocean,,, and also the name of one of the BEST bands from India. Being a band for 19 years, experiencing all the ups and downs that an upcoming band has to experience, have survived the ordeal and are undoubtedly The BEST band that have ever come out of India.

The documentary, depicts the journey of the band from the time of their formation in the 80's to the present. It covers the story of all the members of the band from their family backgrounds, the influences, the hardships they had to go through to reach this stage of achievement. Overall, the movie is totally inspiring about how to follow your passion irrespective of the peer pressure and other things. I wont say anything about the band's story out here, as its better to watch it in the theaters as its only for limited time out there to be screened. And yes, as a special treat the movie is laced with songs from the band from their live concerts. Watching the movie is no less than watching the band performing live. Indian Ocean rocks. and Leaving Home too.

Not many know that a band by the name "Indian Ocean" exists.

A few even regard them as one of top bands in India. Well, the members of the Indian Ocean are 4 of this 'few'. Leaving Home is a excellent documentary abt the simple lives of the band members and how they shared their passion.

What makes this movie all the more special apart from the fact that this is the first film about a band in India is that it is very inspiring, plain and very real.

At least to all those musicians who opted out of the industry for the money, it tells about the regret that carry all along in their life.

A must watch movie regardless of whether you know Indian Ocean or not or whether u follow them or not.

One of the best!

This rockumentary, tells story of Indian Ocean, .

Rockumentary captures the story of the four members of the band, talks about there influences, most intimate moments of members are captured beautifully.

Highlights the band formation over the years. Their influences on other bands. Their activism from environmental issues like Naramada Bachao Andolan (Maa Rewa) to communal issues like Hindu-Muslim rights (Bandeh), how these have influenced band music over years.

The clips from live musical performances by the band is fabulous. This rockumentary is must watch.
