[Cage holds out his hand to help Sonya up, but Sonya slaps it away]
Sonya Blade : I don't need your help.

Kano : [Coming in] Good idea.
[Grabs Cage and throws him over the side of the bridge]
Kano : Now that he's soften you up. It's my turn.

[Zaps Sonya with his laser eye]

[Zaps Sonya again]
Kano : So tell me, how things are at command?
[Zaps Sonya again]
Kano : I just pointed you in the wrong direction. Couldn't have done it without you.
Sonya Blade : SF's on the way, You won't get far.
Kano : Oh, I got a knack for survival. You on the other hand, are gonna die here.
Johnny Cage : [Gets back up on the top of the bridge] Step away from the lady! My fans think that my moves are just wire work and special effects. Truth is, I am the special effects.
[Fights Kano and wins]
Johnny Cage : Put that on your barbie... shrimp.
Sonya Blade : Thanks.
Johnny Cage : No problem. Who was that guy, anyway?
[Puts his hand out to help Sonya up and Sonya grabs Cage's hand and gets up]
Sonya Blade : His name's Kano. He was an informant in our Black Dragon investigation. Big time arms dealers. Turned out he was their leader, gave us the run around. A lot of our guys got killed because of him.
Johnny Cage : So that's not a costume, you're actual military?
Sonya Blade : Special Forces.
Johnny Cage : Get out. So you know about this threat to the world stuff, right? Raiden called in the carvery.
Sonya Blade : Raiden? I have no idea what you're talking about.
[Both Cage and Sonya turn around only to find Kano has disappeared]
Sonya Blade : Damn.
Johnny Cage : He can't be far.
Sonya Blade : He'll have to wait. I appreciate your help, Cage.
Johnny Cage : Johnny.
[He and Sonya shake hands]
Sonya Blade : But right now, I've got things to take care of. My C.O. is locked up on this island somewhere. I have to find him.
