- A woman threatens staff members to let her out of the hospital by holding a knife to another woman's throat. The audience knows that both women are in on the plan, but the threat looks realistic in order to fool the staff.
- A woman tries to escape the hospital but is caught by staff members who violently restrains her and injects a drug to calm her down. She is then shown in a straitjacket and forced to take drugs orally by hospital staff.
