They are very rare things. Enjoy them when they come around.

Deep clean

We're reaching the end of Superstore, and in fact today I finally watched the final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and I guess the similarity is the concept of relationships in the workplace and how they've been forged over the years for viewers to invest in.

Anyway, Jonah's put in an awkward spot when Amy's parents come to the store, and also Matteo is also put in an awkward spot when Amy's parents give him their blessing to marry Eric (George Salazar), although Matteo isn't ready yet because of his undocumented status hanging over him and his future.

Hopefully there can be a Superstore reunion.

Dina Is High; Mateo's Proposal; All-iday Party

The episode starts off with the employees sighing about the wasted year of COVID. They were not able to celebrate the major holidays. Sandra says she could not use her edible lingerie as Jerry and her did not go for their honeymoon. I love Cheyenne's Uggs, jeans and lilac sweater outfit. Jonah receives an order from the Sosa's. He groans as they are Amy's parents. Mateo decides to take the order as he is dating their son anyways. He wants to give the best service to them and motions for the drivers in front of the red Prius to do a lap. However the couple in a silver car turns out to be Amy's parents and he swore at them to move unknowingly. Mateo is flustered and goes in to add additional gifts to their order on his dime. Jonah covers saying that Mateo wants to get off on the right foot with them because he is with their son; they interpret this as Mateo wanting to ask for their blessing for marriage. They freak out and when Mateo comes back they are overly delighted to speak with him. They suggest taking the conversation further indoors and Mrs. Sosa hands the keys to Jonah to park the car. Dina is mixing chemicals in a small room and Cheyenne finds her. Dina is talking and looking a bit strange - Cheyenne then tells her she thinks Dina is high. Dina is mortified and tries to not show it to any of the employees. Glenn is prepping for the All-iday party and a Garfield balloon comes floating to view. This scene was hilarious. Sandra's son asks her if she is high and she replies in an angry manner. However she sees the Garfield balloon and her eyes widens. She tells Cheyenne she thinks she is starting to hallucinate and they leave. The raccoons eat the food on the table and Garrett tells Glenn he has to get over it. Nothing they can do. A party is not going to help, they all had a bad year and nothing can change that. However when the employees come to the warehouse all dressed up, they look disappointed at the emptiness and Garrett tells them they have to take action for Glenn. Glenn is called to come to the warehouse and we see a huge party going on. Dina is even wearing her sexy police Halloween costume. They open the garage door to view the snow but immediately decide to shut it because of the cold.
