If Game of Thrones was gory, s*xually explicit, and filled with n*dity and booze then wait for the House of the Dragon Season 2, as Olivia Cooke said, it has crossed the line of its sequel show. House of the Dragon Season 2 has been one of the highly anticipated television shows after the success of season 1, which gave chills to the bones to the devout fans of the saga.

Game of Thrones was necessarily a record-breaker with extremities to complement its grand narrative, but its prequel show has done wonders as well. With the House of the Dragon’s second season scheduled, Cooke, who plays Alicent Hightower in the show, gave fans some hint of what the second season entails.

House of the Dragon was without a doubt the finest show to premiere in 2022, and Paddy Considine was its shining star. Even in George R. R. Even though the Harry Potter fever is going to be with us for a long time, and it’s supported by the upcoming HBO series, there are some moments that aren’t talked about enough. While discussing the most iconic scenes of the wizards’ saga, the fandom forgets the ones which also reveal the characters’ nature and their relationships.
Here are 4 of the most neglected scenes of the whole Hp franchise.
The Sorcerer's Stone - The Troll
The first installment of the movie series is quick to show us that the notorious school of Witchcraft and Wizardry is not the safest place on Earth. Then it shows the first scary creature threatening the characters - a nasty troll entering the girls' bathroom, where Hermione ends up. It is this very fight against the monster that binds the franchise’s trio and marks the beginning of their adventures in the world of magic.

HBO has released the first full-length trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 (via SFFGazette.com), and brace yourselves because it's epic. In the newly released footage, we see more of the scheming which continues in Westeros as war beckons between Queen Alicent Hightower and Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen.
The Targaryen civil war known as the "Dance of the Dragons" is nearly upon us and this sneak peek does a phenomenal job of setting the stage for the conflict to come.
All the major players are highlighted, with the sneak peek ending on a suitably epic note as Rhaenyra stands tall with Syrax looming large behind her. Who will prevail? Book readers (and most Game of Thrones fans) will know, but we won't spoil anything here,
"The first season was so much about the royal family, that 1 percent of the upper 1 percent that rules this world. All the people in the...

The importance of loyalty, honor and legend are at the heart of The Witcher: Blood Origin, which is set 1,200 years before the events of The Witcher during a time of cataclysmic conflict.
While there are few elves left in the time of Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher: Blood Originexplores the Elven Golden Age before the arrival of humans. In Blood Origin, the Continent is divided into three kingdoms that have been at war with each other for 1,000 years. And each of those royal families is protected by a small clan of elite warriors.
Rather than working with their nation’s military, each clan answers directly to the ruler. They only take to the battlefield when protecting a monarch, and at such times, they care only about their leader’s survival. While they’ll fight brutally against the other clans, they often view their rivals with grudging respect.

7. The Marauders Sending Their Regards
In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry first gets his hands on the Marauder’s Map — an artifact that genuinely bothers Severus Snape when he gets a hold of it. Snape’s attempt to unlock the Map didn’t work out quite well: just like in his school days, the Marauders just humiliated him through snarky and witty messages.
6. Hermione Clowning on Her Stalker
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Hermione Granger had one of her most unhinged moments. After having been bullied by a reporter Rita Skeeter for the entire school year, Hermione finally learned her stalker’s secret and locked her in a jar in her Animagi form, effectively holding the reporter hostage and torturing her.

Grammy lineups are lucky if they include one bona fide classic. But it is the rarest of occasions when we get three nominated together. That was the case in 1970, where The Beatles’ “Abbey Road,” The 5th Dimension’s “The Age of Aquarius” and Crosby, Stills and Nash’s self-titled record were all up for Album of the Year. All three had strong narratives that could have led to possible wins … but they didn’t. Perhaps infamously, the Grammy went to jazz rock band Blood, Sweat and Tears for their successful self-titled album. While nowadays that could be dismissed as a bad win, the reality is that there were a lot of reasons why the band won and why their competitors didn’t. So let’s look more deeply into the race.

Stefan Ruf says that Coyote Woman, his follow-up to Motorpsycho Maniacs aka Sex Terrorists on Wheels, was inspired by both Ralph Nelson’s Soldier Blue and Bruno Mattei’s Scalps. That combination of critically acclaimed sadism and grindhouse sleaze certainly caught my attention and all but demanded I give it a review.

House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel series that debuted on HBO and Max in 2022 and is returning soon, focuses on House Targaryen, generations before the events of the original Game of Thrones series.
They are, of course, the ancestors of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), one of the main characters on Game of Thrones, whose series-long plot was about wanting to recapture her family's throne.
While House of the Dragon focuses on that particular family, we did get occasional glimpses of other familiar houses in the first season of that show, including the Baratheons. Also, there are fleeting mentions of Houses such as Arryn and Stark.
While the members of House Stark were among the most important characters throughout Game of Thrones, none of the Starks were major characters In the first season of House of the Dragon.
However, it appears that it is about to change.

Alien artist Hr Giger was involved in a number of film projects in the 1980s and 90s. We talk to filmmaker William Malone about some amazing films that never happened.
Given just how genre-defining 1979’s Alien was, it’s perhaps surprising that Hr Giger, the Swiss artist who designed the title monster, wasn’t involved in more films. His creations appeared in the likes of Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986), Species (1995), plus a little-seen German indie comedy horror called Killer Condoms (1996), but none were as high-profile or influential as Alien.
In the wake of that genre-defining space horror, other artists and designers tinkered with Giger’s unforgettable xenomorph in its sequels. Giger wasn’t involved in the making of Aliens, Alien Resurrection or subsequent prequels or spin-offs, and his work for Alien 3 was barely used. Instead, Giger had the curious habit of coming up with concepts and artwork for...

Soulsborne games are notorious for being difficult; however, the amount of love and dedication that goes into making them from Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team at FromSoftware is completely unparalleled in the gaming industry. Masterpieces like Dark Souls, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Bloodborne have catapulted the studio into the mainstream, and for good reason.
With breathtaking worlds, stories, and weaponry, the inspirations behind such works require an equal amount of appreciation. Particularly in the case of Bloodborne and, surprisingly, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, a world-renowned Seinen anime paved the way to creating these two jaw dropping experiences.
Blood and Blades: The Inspiration Taken from Blade of the Immortal
A lot of Bloodborne‘s trick weapons are inspired by this anime.

The phrase, “a change of heart,” would forever alter the course of Freddy Macdonald’s life.
Last month, the 23-year-old wunderkind’s feature directorial debut, Sew Torn, premiered at South by Southwest to glowing reviews, capping an extraordinary five-plus years for the young filmmaker. As a high school senior, Macdonald — whose American family had relocated to Switzerland a handful of years earlier — started applying to film schools, and he decided to take a lofty crack at the American Film Institute’s (AFI) graduate program. As part of the application process, Macdonald had to make a short film that told a story involving the aforementioned idiom, “a change of heart,” and so he started trading ideas with his father, Fred Macdonald.
The father-son duo soon found themselves in the oeuvre of the Coen brothers, specifically No Country for Old Men. The inciting incident of the Coens’ best picturing-winning neo-Western involves Josh Brolin...

Dragon’s Dogma’s creative breakthrough—as a series, since much of what the sequel does was introduced in the 2012 original—is that it conceives of the RPG adventure not as a string of combat encounters or dialogue decisions, but as often arduous traveling through dangerous, unpredictable lands—with all the planning, consequences, and improvisation that entails. This angle is so daring and unusual that Dragon’s Dogma 2, which once again sees you set out as the chosen Arisen on a quest to slay the mighty Dragon (or at least it seems that simple at first), somehow feels unlike anything else that’s been released since the first game.
The loop of the game is in many ways similar to that of other action RPGs. Quests send you out into the wilderness to complete tasks and fight monsters before having you return to town to buy equipment and learn skills. This is a familiar rhythm,...

The long-awaited adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s novel “The Mirror and the Light” has wrapped.
In the first images from the production, released by the BBC and Masterpiece PBS, Kate Phillips can be seen reprising her role as King Henry VIII’s third wife Jane Seymour, while Mark Rylance returns as the king’s chief advisor Thomas Cromwell and Damien Lewis as the king himself.
Based on the final novel in Mantel’s award-winning “Wolf Hall” trilogy, which follows the rise and fall of Cromwell, the new images come some 18 months after Mantel’s sudden death at the age of 70.

Thanks to the Esrb, we’re getting closer to the eventual release of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board has posted their rating for the upcoming remake, which as you’d expect, gets a Mature rating for “Blood and Gore, Language, Sexual Themes, Violence.”
Spotted by VGChartz, the listing for Silent Hill 2 on the Esrb website gives a summary of the game, as well as detailing what constitutes the game’s M rating. Of note is the description of some of the environments, which “depict large bloodstains and/or intestines/organs on walls, floors, and surrounding bodies.” Silent Hill 2‘s cutscenes also pile on the disturbing stuff, including characters being impaled, a character suffocated to death with a pillow, and enemies with body parts sewn together.
The nods to sexuality in the original Silent Hill 2 appear to also be back. Though the...

Bloodborne is no doubt a game that every soulslike fan should play at least once in their lifetime. It’s so good that many people have been asking for a more refined version of this game and its sequel for nine years now. But everyone also knows that Bloodborne is not a game for a person who does not like a challenge. It is often considered to be one of the hardest games in FromSoftware’s soulslike series.
While fans kept on asking FromSoftware to start working on a sequel, developers by the names of Round 8 Studio and Neowiz decided to give them something else. A very beautiful-looking soulslike game called Lies of P. This game is Bloodborne to the tee. It has a Victorian setting, and features a dark, horror-like environment. But the developers made sure it’s different in one crucial way: it’s not as hard as Bloodborne.
