AN OUTSTANDING YOUNG MAN !

Being six episodes in to the Australian "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here" and having not previously heard of Joey Essex, I felt compelled to watch this show airing straight after.

I found this show to be extremely compelling. Joey seems to be open and honest and very likeable and of course, confused, lost, untrusting and sad. Joey opened his heart and mind up and tried to make sense of his feelings and life, in the wake of his mother's suicide so long ago.

Suicide has touched most people, at some stage of their lives. I personally can count six or more and have never made any sense of such a "FINAL ACT"!

Whilst the sensitive topic of suicide has been dealt with countless times on TV, this show and Joeys story is a cut above the rest. I think it's due to Joeys honesty, the flow of his feelings interspersed with old pictures and home movies of his life and the excellent editing and production of the show.

For Joey and his family to open up their lives and feelings, dealing with such a tragic event in their past, is bound to be of great help to the thousands and thousands of us who have experienced something similar but could not talk or think about it. Joey and his family are to be hugely congratulated for their heartfelt honesty !

I wish Joey and his family all the love and warmth and the very best of life in the future !
