Worthy of being Number 100

I found this episode really entertaining and a worthy fit for the 100th slot.

There's a meaty case, which needs Charlie to even realise it IS a case, lots of call backs to the very start of the show, and a fair amount of humour (especially for a serial killer case) including around how much the other characters have actually absorbed of Charlie's methods. Even the return of conspiracy nut Roy McGill works quite well. Yes, the character is a bit annoying but he's also quite funny and watching the other characters - especially Larry, who has probably been on the receiving end of the "you're odd" opinions a number of times - work with him is quite sweet actually.

The villain is excellent, quite unlike most serial killer characters in this sort of show. He's outwardly anything but sinister, but the way he's gleeful when caught is pretty creepy.

Terrific episode.

This is a methodical episode using that colorful conspiracy nut guy. Charlie is still reeling from his own guilt and decides to spend every waking minute working on a series of murders that took place in a seemingly random way. It's entertaining at times but the whole thing, when looked in retrospective, is pretty weak.

This series is dying a long slow death because the writers and producers are stagnated it used to be a simple formula... find crooks and arrest them ...now its more like find crooks and let someone else arrest them
