Chapter one is just boring, but chapter two and three is pretty good.

Chapter 1

31 August 2020

This chapter was long and quite boring, I guessed all the twist and surprises before they happened, what made me feel more bored while having to control these two boring people, but I have to say some parts drew me back in, mostly the flashbacks but most of it was just dull and felt like I didn't really do much in the way of choices.

The brother "Tyler" voiced by "August Aiden" and the sister "Alyson" voiced by "Erica Lindbeck" who were mostly annoying and made me feel like I was controlling two 14 year olds who just complained and blamed everyone else for their problems, and moped around.

the reason why I am giving this a 4 is that voice actors did a good job, and the game looked quite nice, plus the story was not bad all the way through, I hope it gets better in chapter 2 but we will see.

Chapter 2

03 September 2020

Much better, from the story being more interesting, going to more than two places, to the writing being much more engaging, and you actually felt like you were making choices what matter and will affect the Storey, shore there was some parts what felt long, but mostly every game has them.

Tyler and Alyson seemed much more well written, and I could actually believe they were 21 year olds with them being more positive this chapter, but there was one thing what I I found what I did not like, voice acting seemed much worse, for some part it sounded very flat, but other than that I really like this chapter

I am putting this up to a 7 having a pretty good time playing throw this.

Chapter 3

15 September 2020

This chapter felt a little mixed up, like I did not like the beginning playing as Alyson once again feeling like I am playing a mopey teenager what is not very much fun, but the end of that part did end nicely giving you a choice what you have to think about and for me what I wanted to do since the beginning of chapter 2, any way the rest of the chapter was good, I liked the ending and found it surprising, and I did not guess Any of the twists or big plot points playing through this chapter, I can't say much more about the story with a lot of it would be spoilers.

Tyler and Alyson were mostly well written, apart from the beginning with Alyson what sounded like a 12 year old, and there was some cringy dialogue between Alyson and Michael (Alyson's best friend) throughout the chapter, but other than that it was fine, nothing special really, well to sum up this chapter, I found it fun as well as engaging but sometimes can feel that it drags on but other than that I'll say it was a good chapter.

The game

Do I think this is worth it, I would say yes, I have had fun and enjoyed the story and plot twists through it, the characters were interesting and well thought out, the town itself is very nice to look at, and interesting to learn about everything what is going on around it, chapter 1 is a big let down, and probably has pushed people away from the game before they could played the next two chapters what are much better in my opinion and well that is what I think of this game.

My little princess

I had some doubts before starting this game. I knew that it touches on some controversial topics. But at the same time games like "Life is strange" are rare, so skip one of the few is not a very thought-out decision.

First of all, to address the transgender topic, I did not find anything super disturbing me personally. But I have to admit it's for sure there, given indirect, it's always hiding in the shadows, in the echoes. The game doesn't try to educate you or poke it into your face.

With that being addressed, I want to share my thoughts on another topic that I find interesting to discuss - fate. I know no matter what you do, we all die in the end. The difference is how you use your time while you are alive. If you do not chase your dreams, you will avoid many troubles. So some people choose safe paths. They learn how their parents live, what to do to succeed in life.

But the story in "Tell me why" showed that while everyone wants their piece of happiness, not everyone gets what they deserve. Once there was a girl, a princess. The girl was happy and her future looked bright and promising. Her parents loved her, and she loved them. But one day the princess had to leave her kingdom. Many years had passed since then, and no one could recognize that little princess anymore. But she kept her secret, the memories about her past, and never forgot about her kingdom.

The thing is - when we think about our future, we are like that little princess with big dreams. But when time does its thing, we get older and slowly forget about that time when we were just kids, and the future looked so promising. The harsh reality is that when next time you see an angry, tired, cashier woman. Look closer, there is a little princess inside. She once was her, and then forgot about that.

"Tell me why" reminded me that people and not some 3rd party forces, but people, are responsible for all the broken castles, for all forgotten princesses...

Really good!

I loved this game! Does a great job handling a variety of serious issues such as identity, abuse, PTSD. I didn't like one of the main characters in the first chapter but by the end of the game loved them both. Absolutely gorgeous animation too. The pacing is slow, sometimes too slow, and the puzzles aren't the most fun, but in the last chapter I was engaged enough to complete them all! The soundtrack wasn't as good as life is strange, but there were a couple very good songs I discovered! Overall one of my fav gaming experiences of the year. However if you do not like interactive drama games, you will definitely not enjoy.

Just finished all chapters of this story based game and its a beautiful way to tell a story of a broken family confronting their problems with a spiritual power that bonds these two siblings, thought it be a rip off to life is strange but it did hold its own just wish there was more chapters maybe they will announce a sequel to this amazing game

Great Story, even when chapter one is slow paced, the storytelling is worthwhile to experiment

Just couldn't finish the game
While the voice acting and the graphics were okay, the story itself was just felt forced. I don't have a problem with the main character being transgendered. It's the fact the keep bringing up the subject without moving forward with the story. I also thought you were playing as Alyson as well? It seems that the game was misleading. I prefer the life is strange series or any tell tell games. Their characters felt more fleshed out.
