• [Toby approaches the old wooden bridge where the river beneath it has risen very high. Percy is waiting for him on the other side] 

  Toby's Driver : The dam's breaking up! We must find high ground!

  Percy : Your only chance is to cross the bridge!

  Toby : [noticing the rough waters and the old bridge]  It doesn't look safe to me!

  Toby's Driver : It's our only chance. If the dam breaks, we'll be done for!

  [Toby slowly advances onto the bridge to get across] 

  Narrator : Toby was halfway across the bridge when disaster struck!

  [the dam finally breaks, erupting a large torrent of water, which causes the bridge Toby is on to break and float away on the water] 

  Toby : HELP!

  [Percy watches in horror as Toby is swept down the river] 

  Percy's Driver : We'll follow him on our line. It meets the river further down.
