This was the last episode to be produced by Michael Hurll, a man who had encouraged stunt-based set pieces, and work with animals, along with strict editing and the use of canned laughter to cover any lulls in the audience response.
In his 2005 autobiography "Larger Than Life", Eddie Large called Hurll "brilliant and driven" and that he "played a huge part in our career", but also insisted that "With the benefit of hindsight, I realise now that he wasn't really right for us. Michael is famous for his editing - we knew it was Little and Large but there was no guarantee that both of us would be in it."
