Don't believe a word of the reviews by bhakts. This movie has to be admired for its courage to tackle a subject that no other director or actor would have touched with a barge pole. They obviously knew that this won't break the bank since the subject is so niche but still went ahead. Deepika has risen so much in stature in the last few months. Producing a film she believed in and that I'm sure had very few backers. Standing in solidarity with agitating students days before the film released, risking her own film. Don't give a damn what anyone thinks, this girl will continue to go places. If not India because of the stupid bhakts then Hollywood. No amount of acid poured out by the paid goons (who are the antagonists portrayed in the film) can stop this director and actor from doing great work in the future.
