Max Benderr, who has spent 15 of prison, returns to his home village: immediately many persons tell him that he is not welcome. In the night Anna Seebauer, his ex-wife, asks Max to leave the village. Max wants to explain her that somebody visited him in the prison and told him very important things about the murder of Nadine Graef. But suddenly somebody threw through the window a stone and a message ("15 years were not enough"). Max runs outside ,but he didn't see anybody. Anna leaves Max. Some days later the corpse of Max has been found on the banks of the Isar River.
Max has been killed by a hit in the head. So begins an interesting murder investigation, because there is a secret in the village.
