The set up is very simple. But decent and heartfelt acting and clever editing achieve an effective portrayal of the devastating impact of Alzheimer's in both the patient, the father, and the family, his son's perspective. Especially big kudos to Eric Peterson who plays the father - going through the flickering memories, confusion, denial, outburst, and remnants of once a loving father one moment to the next seamlessly.
