Feels more like a filler episode then a movie
WeAreLive9 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Koenma who decided to take a hiatus from his work goes on vacation only to be distributed by being kidnapped by his childhood rival Koashuhara and the demon lord Garsha/ Yasha. It's up to team Urameshi to save them.

As I said before I am not really sure why this is a movie cause it feels more like a regular filler episode or even an OVA. Not to mention it has the exact length of one episode.

On the plus side though in contrast to the Poltrigias movie Funimation actually redubbed it as the original dub was not good even though i do miss both Animaze and Kevin Seymour's voice direction.

However, the newer dub is very hard to find (I was lucky somebody posted it on youtube.

Its a special episode (or OVA). Still good tho.

Its a special episode instead of a movie, took place around season 1 (right before the tournament in season 2). Run time around 25 minutes, plus same intro and ending songs as in the season 1 & season 2 respectively. Usual storyline as in the main series, just doing some saving and fighting demons.

The animation and the sound quality were just same as in the main series. Apart from the new characters, nothing much to discussed on. The villains for this short movie were pretty generic and boring tbh. Great voice casting as always.

Wish there could be more screen time for Hiei and Kurama, but its okay since its only a special episode.

Generic anime action à la Dragonball

Warning: Spoilers
I guess this title may sound like a compliment to some, but it's not meant positive whatsoever. But first things first: This is "Yû yû hakusho", also known as "The Golden Seal", a 25-minute animated short film from Japan in 1993, so this one will have its 25th anniversary next year. Looking at how many writers and directors worked on this one here, the outcome is shockingly bad. There's English and Japanese language versions of this one out, of course also some with subtitles. This is the story of a lord who gets kidnapped by some demons and they want a golden seal in exchange for the release. Of course, the film's protagonists, i.e. heroes, can't let that happen and try to free the lord without losing the seal. It is not really a serious film. I made the Dragonball reference in the title already and in some moments there is quite a deal of comedy to it (big eyes, happens very often in these anime films). This is a pretty short one we have here, but I am glad it ended so quickly as it did not get me interested at all in the long running series this is connected to. The story is okay early on, but the longer it goes, the more forgettable it becomes. Only worth seeing for the very biggest anime lovers. I suggest you check out something else instead.
