Final episode to feature a Penny cartoon.
Magic Screen suggests everyone watch a short film about manners. It's from the 1955 "Young America Films" educational film, "Cindy Goes to a Party". The cartoon called up by the King of Cartoons is excerpts from the 1932 Warner Bros. short, "Freddie the Freshman". Also screened in this episode is "Cow Cow Boogie" a segment from "Who's Who in Animal Land" (1944), in which the cows themselves sing the "Boogie" through a combination live-action/animation technique known as "duo-plane", a version of the rotoscope process. (The film won the Academy Award for Best Short.)
The secret word in this episode is "ON" but reads as "NO" when upside-down in capital letters. Therefore, Pee-Wee suggests everybody has to scream really loud upside-down after hearing the upside-down secret word. However, after giving that a try, Pee-Wee says it makes him sick and then decides to go easy on the upside-down secret word. "ON" was said and screamed at 9 times. However, it would also be heard throughout the episode withut getting screamed at.
The third of three episodes with two different secret words.
Final appearances of Ricardo and the King of Cartoons, though they would be seen in flashbacks in a later episode.
