Michael B Jordan!!! 20 years old!

Warning: Spoilers
This is a really good episode of Cold Case but the absolute best part is a gorgeous twenty year old Michael B Jordan playing a young card game hustler with his half brother. He is the standout of the episode by a mile! He looks and acts like a superstar already on this one. He's such a brilliant and natural actor. And soooooo handsome! But back to Cold Case, it's an interesting episode about the two half brothers who get in deep with some bad dudes who have unsavory intentions to take advantage of them. It's one that you will be interested throughout trying to figure out where it's going. A very good treat!

The number man
jotix10024 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Life is hard in the ghetto. A bright young man, Terrance Carter, or T, as he is known in the 'hood, has an ability with numbers. He has a mind that is good for guessing what cards will be dealt while playing games like 21. He proves it to his half-brother Michael, when they sit to a street game in which T beats the dealer repeatedly because he knows what cards will follow to win the hand. That ability also proves to be fatal.

When the father of the dead Terrance comes to the Cold Case unit, after T's murder has not been solved for a while, he feels as though the police are not interested. In reconstructing the case, the detectives go to interview people that could shed a lead in what happened to the young man. His mother is bitter, but has nothing to add, when the unit asks her about opening three accounts using her dead son's social security account.

His half brother is now paralyzed himself, having been shot some time after T died. There is another man, the one that raises pigeons on the roof that is able to tell more about how intelligent T really was and his potential. Even the criminal Delonte had a big problem with T after he double crossed him during a game in which T gave him the wrong signal.

Lilly is finishing her therapy with the Dr. Davoren, the analyst assigned to her after she was shot. She is reluctant to speak about what is troubling her. She turns tables on Dr. Davoren when she tells the analyst she feels the relation with her daughter are not what should be. All Lilly wants is to be left alone. Dr. Davoren feels Lilly's nightmares will continue.

The Cold Case team solve the problem by going back to Delonte, who without telling them, leads them to the killer. Kevin Bray directed this episode written by Greg Plageman. Both are associated to this enjoyable series. Kathryn Morris and Thom Barry are showcased prominently in this installment. Good appearances by Maestro Harrell, John Lafayette, Michael B. Jordan and Spider Loc, among the large cast.
