Yoasobi to Perform Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season Theme Song - Main Image
Following the anime’s reveal in January, the Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season anime announced that Yoasobi will perform the show’s theme song.
This was confirmed via the show’s official X (formerly Twitter) account and website. There, the song’s title was revealed along with the release of a short preview.
Yoasobi performing the show’s theme marks yet another series the popular Japanese music duo will work on. This shouldn’t be surprising given how well-received the duo’s anime songs are.
With the theme song announcement, we will likely get even more info soon, and hopefully even a proper trailer.

It seems the concept of anthropomorphism has started to become a trend in the anime world, with a number of titles of quality, as in the case of “Bna” and “Beastars”. “Odd Taxi” moves in the same path, although in a much different animation style than the two aforementioned.
Odokawa, the protagonist of the story, is a 41-year old walrus taxi driver whose parents abandoned him in elementary school, leaving him generally asocial, in a way though, that has him being rather frank to the point of nihillism in all his interactions, including those with his passengers. However, he still has some friends who are quite loyal to him, as in the case of Gouriki, a gorilla doctor who is also Odokawa’s physician, and Kakihana, a gibbon who works as a janitor and tries to pick up women through a dating app. Furthermore, Shirakawa, a young alpaca who works...

The second season of one of the best anime of 2020 continues the impressive mixture of anthropomorphism as a metaphor of various issues of human nature, whodunit, high school drama and coming of age in a package that emerges at least of equal quality with the first part.
Season 2 of “Beastars” proceeds almost immediately to answer all the questions the finale of the previous one left, while adding a number of additional mysteries and plot twists. A creature with many eyes that seem to be lurking in the shadows of the school is soon revealed to be something completely different than what everyone suspected, while Tem’s killer is finally revealed, in a series of events that show that what happened was a different kind of crime, to say the least.

The truth remains that whatever one talks about regarding the anime industry this year, the success of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie” overshadows everything in the category. However, the year was once more quite good for the industry, at least content-wise, with a number of titles that are bound to make an impact in the future coming to the fore. A number of new trends also appeared, with two titles that focus on the humanization of animals, a number of ones that presented a distinctly European setting, and a number of series that were original, not based on manga that is. Lastly, Masaaki Yuasa proved, once more, that he is on the very top of anime directors.

Based on the multi-awarded manga by Paru Itagaki, “Beastars” is a rather original anime, both for having anthropomorphic animals as its protagonists and by taking place in a world that seems Victorian as much as US college-like.
The story takes place in Cherryton Academy, a place inhabited by all kinds of anthropomorphic animals that are coexisting, despite being divided between carnivores and herbivores, in a world where eating meat is forbidden by law. The main protagonists is Legoshi, a large gray wolf who, despite being a carnivore, is actually quiet, introvert and timid. Legoshi is a member of the crew of the drama club, where Louis, a red deer, is the undisputed star. Louis is also the favorite for the title of Beastar, a yearly honorific title that is bestowed on an individual of great talent, service and notoriety, but also a rather enigmatic personality despite its star-status. This is the counterpoint to that “Houston, we have a problem” list; this is the one where we’ll talk about how the show must go on, how the Force will be with us, and, maybe most importantly, how we’ll be back.

Netflix is adding a robust line-up of popular programs to its slate in March.
In addition to rom-coms like Matthew Mcconaughey’s “Ghosts of Girlfriend’s Past,” “He’s Just Not That Into You” and “Always a Bridesmaid,” the streamer is also adding a few classics like “Goodfellas” and “The Shawshank Redemption” starring Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins. The latter film also serves as an analogy for actor Macaulay Culkin’s journey to freedom, according to his Esquire interview.
Original Netflix shows coming to the platform next month include “Lost Girls,” “Crip Camp” and Season 3 of “Elite.” Based on a true story, “Lost Girls” follows a mother who, in her desperate search to find her missing daughter, helps to uncover a string of unsolved murders. Amy Ryan, Gabriel Byrne and Thomasin Mckenzie make up the cast.
“Elite” follows three working-class teens who enroll in an exclusive Spanish private school. But once they arrive,...

With February 29th fast approaching – this is a Leap Year, remember – Netflix is preparing to roll out a fresh helping of new content for March 2020.
It’s a familiar combination of original series, time-honored classics and beloved franchise films, with next month set to herald the arrival of Resident Evil: Apocalypse and its undead sequel, Extinction. Sure, it’s a far cry from the quality and craft of The Lord of the Rings – speaking of which, both the Twin Towers and The Return of the King will be departing Netflix in four weeks’ time – but the saga of Alice still carved out an audience to call its own.
Also peppered throughout Netflix’s March 2020 catalog are some big-name horror titles and edge-of-your-seat thrillers, including Signs and the third season of Ozark. And then there’s the third season of Castlevania, which, it’s fair to say, has been a long time coming.

Here's what's new on Netflix in March 2020! We've got a complete list of what's leaving, too.
Normally the big story for each month of Netflix new releases are the exciting batch of Netflix original series and movies arriving. For Netflix's new releases for March 2020, things are a little bit different. Yes, there are some cool originals here but...look at those movies!
March 1 sees the arrival of Corpse Bride, The Shawshank Redemption, There Will Be Blood, and Goodfellas! Martin Scorsese likely can't unilaterally decide when and where his movies stream, but it is a happy coincidence that Goodfellas will now exist alongside The Irishman.
As for those Netflix originals...Ozark is the biggest returning hit in March. The story of a very corrupt family airs its third season on March 27. Also of note are Castlevania season 3 (March 5), Altered Carbon: Resleeved (March 19). But really after Goodfellas, nothing else was really necessary.

Netflix is out with its list of everything coming and going in March, and highlights include “Ozark” Season 3, coming March 27, and the Brazilian version of the popular reality competition “The Circle,” coming March 11.
There’s good news and bad news. The good news is we’re gaining some beloved mid-2000s films, like “He’s Just Not That Into You,” “Valentine’s Day” and “Silver Linings Playbook,” “Corpse Bride” and “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events,” plus some ’90s favorites like “Space Jam” and “GoodFellas.”
The bad news is that throughout the month we’re losing “Black Panther,” “Eat Pray Love,” “The Waterboy,” “P.S. I Love You,” “Batman Begins,” both “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” and “The Two Towers,” and “Kill Bill” Volumes 1 and 2.

The streaming sector may be growing ever more crowded as increasing numbers of providers embrace the video-on-demand model of content distribution, but industry pioneer Netflix continues to dominate in terms of original content and more than double the subscribers of its nearest competitor, Disney+. And in March of 2020, those 62 million subscribers have a lot of compelling movies and series to look forward to, both original and imported.

Netflix is where to watch Beastars in the United States, but American anime fans have been waiting impatiently just to get the first episode. Well, at least we have a better idea of how much longer we need to wait. Beastars’ Netflix release date outside of Japan has been confirmed to be coming up in late winter 2020! The news comes thanks to Netflix’s Nx Twitter account. An anime fan started the conversation by asking, “Please do me a major solid and localize Beastars instead of just airing it exclusively in Japan. I wanna watch my socially awkward wolf boy […]...
