- Eleven says that Jonathan smokes plants with his friend. He also told her not to tell Joyce since they were 'from the earth' and hence not harmful. Excess smoke is shown in his room during this sequence.
- A supposed drug deal going on where bags of dried weed are shown in a box.
- Eddie retrieves 'special k' (a street name for ketamine). A girl asks about it who seems to suffer from hallucinations.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The end of the episode is very frightening and involves Vecna, which is very scary.
- El's treatment at her new school is very difficult to watch, especially for anyone who's ever been bullied
- A minor character is heard vomiting into a toilet, most likely due to an eating disorder. This scene is accompanied by body-shaming taunts from another voice, which may be disturbing or uncomfortable for some viewers.
- Characters experience distressing hallucinations frequently.

- Joyce gets a doll from Hopper. She lifts her dress and says she has nipples.
Violence & Gore
- At the end of the sequence in the trailer Chrissy gets her face gouged by claws and in real life we see her float and get all of her bones broken into two while spewing blood from her eyes. (Her eyes blow up.)
- Chrissy goes through her house, she finds her dead mother and father, with blood on their face, which is mostly decomposed. Scary.
- The episode begins with a massacre at a lab. Screaming is heard but nothing shown, however, a character later walks through the lab and sees bodies of adults and children with blood splatters, stains and pools. No violence, but plenty of blood in the aftermath
- Near the end one of the characters limbs all snap and her eyes explode. Very disturbing
- Near the end of the episode Chrissy sees her father with his eyelids sewn shut, and he's tied to a chair in their living room. Very disturbing. Is attached to a musical jump scare moment.
- Dead corpses with blood splatters. A person sees nightmarish visions of mutilated people in pain. A girl is murdered in brutal fashion (No gore, but it is disturbing).
- We see Vecna snap crackle pop Chrissy, and it's very disturbing.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- At the end of the episode Crissy has another possession sequence where she is running away from a monster. This may disturbed some.
- Chrissy, in the final possession sequence, hallucinates seeing her dad with his eyes and mouth sewn shut and he starts desperately screaming and struggling. Very scary, especially for anyone who has claustrophobia
- A nightmare sequence has a lot of claustrophobic images and a disturbing murder (Check Violence and Gore for more information).
