The first two seasons impressed with a thoroughly exciting, albeit absurd storyline and brilliant actors. I would put the series on a par with "Fargo," "Goliath," "Breaking Bad," and the like. The set, camera, lighting and especially the soundtrack are great. The third season, set in Liverpool, is all the more disappointing. Nothing is right here anymore. The story is thin and no longer just absurd, but completely implausible.
The soundtrack is atrociously bad. Equipment, camera technology and the like clearly show that European productions are miles worse in terms of quality than (good) US American ones. The third season is nothing but a cheap (!) English TV production. Disappointing.
