It takes place in Britany, the story of a young woman whose the father is an artist painter, and who is a painter herself and a girl who wants to survive through the monotony of existence. Besides she works as a translator for an institute. Her sister is about to be married to a rich American. Everything seems normal here, till one night, suddenly, a strange phenomenon occurs... The story swings into the science fiction... It is obvious that this tale is under the influence of Steven Spielberg's ENCOUNTER OF THE THIRD KIND. The screenwriter called this the fifth kind. You can also think of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, but I admit that French film and TV industry has never been familiar with science fiction world. So, I think this little story seems interesting and I would say ambitious. It is one of the best episode, so far, of this too short French TV show, one of the only devoted to science fiction. A beautiful tale about solitude.
