We have waited nearly 2 months for the next instalment and i'm going to try my best to keep this spoiler free, it was mediocre but not awful. Wasn't groundbreaking, epic nor full of conclusion to the main plot, but that doesn't make it bad. Kaia's return was a little random and as explained in earlier reviews for this Season this is becoming a problem, why bring back these sub-plot characters at all?
At least the boys are back to what they do best, hunting and helping even if it is for a small time, with a few tweaks and twizzles along the way. The flash back to earlier seasons shows the writers kept to their roots on this, this was always the plan from the start, that bit was connective to the plot so i give a thumbs up for that.
I noticed that Jack looks puzzled half of the time, always the confused expression. I suppose in this episode he just wanted to do the right thing, and have a good heart at that.
Chuck's ideas are getting more morbid by the second, as seen in this episode his actions had a lot of conclusive visuals, great cinematically but maybe a little overkill for still several episodes to go, it made it all look vague. Decent in some cases though.
Edit: I changed my review completely, watched the episode a second time.
