It was a great moment, we have seen all the season in 4 days... A big idea with great actors.. I hope to see the second season as soon as possible 🙏😊

This series is one of Netflix productions in the middle east, the story is new and creative but there were some issues in the plot and how they shift from scene to scene like superpower couple. Adel and Amel did a really good job though.
Points for effort but room for improvement + fire whoever cast Amal Bouchoucha

Knowing how bad lebanese tv can be, I think this show does pretty well in terms of directing, engaging script, and attention to details. the suspense keeps you going all the way to the last episode but it's barely enough to leave a good impression. Because the premise of the show makes every episode more or less independent of the one before it, it is important to know when to stop, and I think the producers didnt. It went on for 5 or 6 episodes too long, tried to touch on every social issue under the sun, and lost its personality along the way. Is it a comedy? A crime? A drama? A romance? It tries to be all but unfortunately is none. In terms of acting, Adel Karam is stellar in some scenes and mediocre in others, but paired with the disaster of an attempt of an actor that is Amal Bouchoucha, he carries the show well but singlehandedly. Had the show starred an actress who is capable of (1) acting better than an 8 year old in a school production of Sayf 840, (2) speak good Lebanese (3) be in a shot without requiring full makeup and tight clothes, I would have given it an 8/10.

The series start off with a well proposed plot, but afterwards it is not well executed. The initial opening is clever, where the executive gives out a dollar to a taxi driver. However, then the executive disappears from the scene. Each episode becomes repetitive with the couple searching, getting close to finding yet failing to obtain the dollar. I was able to watch it until the 6th episode before I got really bored.
Other pros: main actors are really talented, and I enjoyed the fact that series moved through different parts of Beirut. Had the plot been better executed it would have easily received 9 or 10 stars.

Dollar had a solid start, but it tuned out to be quite repetitive!!! Should i continue? I'm now at episode 6 and it's still the same!!! They are running after the dollar and at the end of the episode a twist happens and the cycle returns at the beginning! I found this series really boring!

Love this show! So simple and brilliant. Amazing performances by Adel and Amel!!! Dollar is refreshing. It shows a Beirut with a gleaming, modern business center and older residential areas consisting of gorgeous architecture. You're reminded that the city's French roots when you hear phrases like "bon jour" and "Monsieur" mixed into the Arabic.

I watched the series for more than a year, my opinion, as I remember it
Frankly one of the strangest series I have ever watched,
The story of the series is somewhat funny, but a movie of two hours is enough and more for it, (or maybe a short series with a maximum of 5 episodes, for example),
There is stretching and repetition as if and sometimes unreal events, the heroes' relationship with each other is superficial and naive
I think that the writer of the series might have been writing various short sketches for the program (Ma Fei Mutlu) for the same hero (Adel Karam).
Because I felt that the series were sketches put together and glued together.

This series is based on a theme that's been done to death i.e how to get involved in other peoples lives and help them sort out their issues. It's been done by Angels intervening like "Highway to Heaven", and a couple others along similar lines. In this case, it's following a dollar bill as it changes hands and become involved that way with the people who currently may have the dollar bill. The premise becomes tiresome after the first few episodes since it then becomes formula driven. You have to look at it as a study of modern Beirut society where image is everything, and people go into debt over plastic surgery, Botox and silicone fillers. It's great to pass time if you just want to have the TV on with background noise or something to watch while working out. Just not to be taken seriously!

The story is not well written, acting skills are very poor, they were trying to be funny but didnt succeeded in that AT ALL. The 1st episode looked very interesting and they could've made a very interesting show, however the series turned out to have a very poor story.

Its perhaps an original idea which now days is missing if you leave those crime fictions . But somewhere the director seemed to have lost the plot . Could have been a once in a lifetime series had the followed the basic plot and not triesbti show that they set out to do good for people rather than follow the the money

If u wanna make a show in a country, it should be at least realistic and thats how Dollar was, every episode tells a story that relates to an issue that our Arabian Society is facing, or mostly the Levantine Society, the performance was on point from both Adel Karam and Amel B. the only thing that i'd prefer if it was a 10-episode series.

I am studying arabic and was looking for fun and good series to watch. This is definately very good. I enjoyed it very much, the acting ,the script, everything comes together. Absolutely loved every bit of it. Hopefully we are gping to see more!!
