- "Slice" starts with the story of Grandpa Leane courting his wife with a delicious Slice of Pizza. Grandpa and Grandma are telling their story to young Anthony and his sister Marie. The movie jumps to the older Anthony at a dinner meeting with Studio representatives where he is told by Barry Danzinger that the Studio wants Anthony to Write and Direct the sequel to "Gumba Goons" because of the success of the first one and a clause in his contract. Anthony does not want to make another "Gomba Goons" movie and relates the rejection from the Studio rep Barry to his parents, Marie and Carmine Leone, at the family dinner. Marie suggests that Anthony bring over Barry to the house for coffee and asks Carmine for his Recipe. Barry comes to the house and eats Carmine's Cheesecake and decides to accept Anthony's idea of a Little Brooklyn Movie about his Grandpa's Pizzaria and cancel the "Gombah Goons II' sequel. Carmine had courted his wife Marie with his Cheesecake at his parent's Brooklyn Pizzaria.—Publicist
