Sad one, reminds of season two's number one episode
mbocquet-0406115 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I would never imagine to see a show bringing to life that feeling, that as a child you wanna have time to contemplate life, have the time, all the time in the world to just be there in bliss contemplating. your whole life you'd want that idea to happen, and once finally you can, there is things in the way, time is missing, running out, you can never really take it. that idea of bliss one day, you're reaching out for it. So sad to see rebecca sad, realising she's running out of time, and her two sons powerless.. and that ending, sterling is acting so well.... we are blessed to witness such a great cast and crew performing

So curious to see what happens to Randall
tenealesharman27 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Surely a massive snap is coming for him, all of his behaviors are so out of character. It's slightly annoying so I hope it all gets explained later on. This is such a brilliant show can't believe I only have 2 episodes left of the season. 😔

So Little Time!
Hitchcoc9 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
We begin with Randall calling his siblings and telling them that while their mom is attending Kevin's red carpet opening, he wants to tell her about an experimental treatment for Alzheimer's, the beginnings of which she has. She will be an inpatient in a clinic for nine months. He pushes Kate and Keven into agreeing to present this to her. He never considers for a moment that she may not want it. We then backtrack to when the kids were in junior high and Jack took the whole family to New York City. They have their ups and downs as they try to pack a ton of stuff into one day. We move into the present and again New York. While Kevin is hobnobbing with his friends and other high profile people, Randall dumps the experimental treatment on his mother, really upsetting her. We are then made privy to a tussle between Randall and Kevin. Randall feels he has been the glue that holds the family together and his brother betrayed him. That he is responsible for Rebecca's ultimate decision. The whole business of how much time we have is always at the center. Rebecca sees nine months in some hospital away from home as a loss of time with her family, which is her reason for living.

Final Stretch to the Season Finale
lesterholt11 March 2020
First episode of three to end the season. This one is definitely a setup for more to come. New York City is the theme as we see different points of time when the Pearson's have traveled there. Without spoilers, we see Randall and Kevin's very different viewpoints of their mom and how to care for her. Both brothers are very active in the plot, making very true-to-character decisions that bring us to a very visceral climax. If you are familiar with these characters, you will wince and even cringe at the clashing of some characters, which is of course a positive, as these characters continue to be well-written with plenty of flaws, priorities, and inner-conflict shown through the writing. Nothing too special about the episode but shouldn't disappoint.
