I will try to put it, as simple as I can. 'Switch' is 'Karate Kid' in Norwegian, but with snowboards instead of karate. A pure popcorn-entertainment for a boring sunday afternoon. This is not big art - The story is copy paste work - It is a leave-your-brain-in-your-bedroom-kind-of-movie. Don't think to much about it, just follow along, and you will have a great time watching this. Peter Stormare is solid, and really.carries the movie on his shoulders. There is a lot of fun. The snowboarding scenes are few but good, I won't say this is a film for everyone, but if you are into these sports underdog stories, maybe give it a shot.

Pretty good considering the source material!

surprisingly funny movie where the plot is centered around snowboarding and being the best at it to get the girl and to gain popularity. in other words there are a few similarities to "better of dead" when it comes to how the plot plays out. but the best part of the movie has to be Peter Stormare as a ex-surfer who left the waves in the states heartbroken and ends up in VOSS!=? even he seems more like a hippie than anything else, but the guy is quite a character. the snowboarding scenes are pretty good but brief. to end things off i would say this film is a great movie for teenagers and amusing to the older crowd. so by all means see it if you have time to spare.
