Real solid episode of Never Have I Ever, Devi got bitten by a Coyote at Trent's place. I really like the sarcastic humor on this show. Let's hope for more of this.

Good up until that last line

I like this show. It's not the best written in my opinion- some of the jokes feel forced (they can feel more like the writers trying to add in a funny line rather than something that comes from the character) and often it's a little too expository or on the nose- but it still remains a charming, fun, and pretty funny depiction of high school.

I'm not the target audience for this show, but I enjoy watching it. However, that last line in this episode was just so unnecessary and forced. I think it's great that the show has LGBT+ representation, but it has already been made very clear to the audience that Devi's friend might be gay, so having her type that she is gay into a keyboard for a robot to say it out loud just feels really cheesy and unnecessary. I guess maybe it's a cliffhanger of her coming to terms with her identity, but I don't think it works, and I think the "cliffhanger" is unnecessary as we're already invested into how her and her sexuality will play out later on in the series.

It's a good show, and while this was a pretty enjoyable episode for the most part, that last line was just not a good way to end it
