One of the most basic episodes of the series. Warning: Spoilers
----------------One Of The Most Basic Episodes Of The Series.--------------------

Among the many ways of approaching a new series, one could be watching that episode that describes your most important characters among the first. Following this strategy, this is one of the first episodes you would like to see. It is placed as the 24th episode of Thundercats' first season, but I suppose that if you want to give a quick start to someone about this series you could give him:

1) Episode One: Exodus; that describes the destruction of Thundera and origin of the Thundercats 2) Episode Two: Unholy alliance: that tells us a bit more about our villains. and 3) Episode 24: Safari Joe; that's THIS EPISODE, that describes the main personality characteristics of every Thundercat along with their strengths and weaknesses.

Talking about this last point, the only weakness of this episode is that the weaknesses of every Thundercat, either are not used in other episodes, like Panthro being afraid of bats, that I don't recall that to be used somewhere else, or create some plot errors, like Tygra being unable to swim unless he is invisible (which is inconsistent with "The Fireballs of Plun-Darr"(Ep 16 from this same Season 1) where we can see him swim, dive, hold his breath for a long time and maneuver under water both when his whip makes him invisible and when he does not have his whip , therefore being visible ). Nevertheless, the personality analyses of the Thundercats are very consistent and accurate with the whole series. Those are the good news!

An interesting point is that this episode shows us even the strengths of little Snarf, that most villains (including Safari Joe) normally don't consider a threat...luckily, for Safari Joe's misfortune.

Thanks for reading.
