This episode is in 'parallel time' (!?!) By now this show seems like a random hodge-podge of different-named characters being played by the same actors. It can be extremely confusing indeed, even to the most careful and studious viewer. You almost have to view and enjoy each episode as a stand-alone show,at least towards the end of the series. Why? In my opinion, the first 300-400 episodes followed a trajectory, there was at least some idea of what was coming next. In other words,it seems there was at least a rough outline or plan of what was going to happen in the coming weeks and months ahead.
At the time of the making of this later episode,it seems that there was a lot less thought about the months ahead. For this reason it seems like the show was perhaps running out of good ideas. The Leviathan storyline was the beginning of the end as far as I am concerned.
