Bet is bulking up its unscripted programming. The Viacom-owned cable network has handed out series orders to docuseries starring rapper Nelly, a new entry with Keyshia Cole and one featuring Meet the Browns stars David and Tamela Mann. The untitled Cole project, picked up for six half-hour episodes, marks Bet's third series featuring the multiplatinum-selling singer. The new series chronicles Cole's ongoing emotional journey as she confronts real-life issues, including her unstable marriage to NBA player Daniel Gibson, her evolving career, motherhood and family struggles. Keyshia Cole is back on Bet with a new docu-reality series. Cole, star of the 2006 Bet unscripted show Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, will topline Keyshia Cole: Family First (working title), a six-part series featuring the R&B songstress as a wife to NBA star Daniel Gibson, mother to her 2-year old son, daughter, sister, musician and businesswoman. The series, which will premiere in the fall, is executive produced by James DuBose of DuBose Entertainment as well as Michele Barnwell, Cole and Gibson.

Keyshia Cole and Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson have been blessed with the birth of their first child together on Tuesday, March 2. In a statement sent to Us Magazine, publicist Tresa Sanders said that the happy parents "are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr."
Sanders detailed that the 28-year-old singer's son was born at 11:54 P.M. and weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. "Both mother and baby are doing great," she added. Two blissful news are coming out from Grammy Award-nominated Keyshia Cole. The 28-year-old singer has recently got engaged to boyfriend Daniel Gibson, and is expecting her first child with the Cleveland Cavaliers player. Her representative has confirmed the news through Us Magazine.

DuBose had tapped Bet's senior vp original program development Robyn Lattaker-Johnson as president of his DuBose Entertainment to oversee the company's expansion.
In its first scripted effort, DuBose has acquired all media rights to the story of the "Black Mafia Family" of Bmf -- brothers Demetrious "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry Flenory, who were recently sentenced to 30 years in prison for operating a multi-state criminal enterprise involving high-volume cocaine distribution.
"This is a complex crime story that weaves elements of humanity, a strong family bond, street-level survival and opulence with real consequences," said, who plans to develop a scripted series, a feature film and a book.
