- TriviaThe reason Rommie isn't shown for much for the fifth Season was due to Lexa Doig's real life pregnancy. If you look closely you'll notice that when she is on screen she's either shown from the neck up as Andromeda, or from the back. She wasn't seen full front view until episode 5.18.
- GoofsWhen Andromeda can't go to slipstream, Dylan says it's because they need Rommie, yet in first season's "Under The Night" and "An Affirming Flame" they went to slipstream even though Rommie didn't exist.

The return of Rommie
As this episode begins Beka and Rhade are working to evacuate Seefra-9 before it is destroyed by Trance's approaching sun. They are hoping for help from Dylan and Andromeda but there is a problem; he wishes to test the slipstream drive first and Andromeda refuses to enter slipstream without knowing the exit point, attempts to override the safety systems aren't successful. There is only one solution; repair Rommie. Doyle works to do this and everything appears to go well until Rommie becomes operational; it then becomes clear that Rommie has 'issues' and could be a danger to those aboard Andromeda.
After so long away it was great to see Rommie return; after what happened to her at the end of the previous season her return was far from guaranteed. The story of her return was solid and didn't go quite as I'd expected. The reasons given for her behaviour are explained well enough both emotionally and technologically. The secondary story involving the evacuation of Seefra-9 wasn't a distraction and provided some more action and a few laughs. As well as two good storylines we get hints of things that might important in upcoming episodes as a key member of the crew acts slightly out of character. The cast does a solid job; Lexa Doig was particularly entertaining as Rommie. Overall a fine episode which fans of the series are sure to enjoy.
