- Jonas Quinn returns to the SGC to ask for assistance in saving his nation. He explains that the Naquadria was originally Naquadah and a Goa'uld named Thanos started a chain reaction to transform all of his planet's Naquadah into Naquadria. A large vein of Naquadah has just been affected and the Kelownan scientists believe that the transformation will cause this large a deposit to explode, taking their entire nation with it.—trekkie4christ
- The SGC receives a visit from their old friend Jonas Quinn who urgently needs their help. The three countries on the planet have now renamed it Langara but everyone is now in danger. Jonas has determined that Naquadriah isn't an element on its own but is actually a mutated form of Naquadah. The problem they have is that a huge vein of Naquadah is in the process of transformation and given Naquadria's instability, may explode at any moment. Sam joins Jonas and his colleague Kianna Cyr and finds a possible solution. There is a Goa'uld spy among them however. Back at the SGC, the Langarans amply demonstrate that the planet's three groups are anything but supportive of one another. Jack has a solution for that.—garykmcd
- Jonas Quinn visits the SGC to ask for help to save his planet Kelowna that is near destruction. He explains that the underground Naquadah is transforming into Naquadria and his planet is becoming unstable. Sam goes to Langara (Kelowna's new name) and joins the research of Jonas Quinn and his assistant and girlfriend Kianna Cyr. Meanwhile the government of Langara arrives at the SGC to discuss a contingency plan to evacuate Langara, but there is friction when they learn the cause. Meanwhile Sam proposes a daring and dangerous plan to save Langara.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- SGC is unpleasantly surprised when Jonas returns in a delegation from his 'united' and renamed home planet Kelowna, now tripartite federation Langara, seeking help with the threat of a fatal seismic explosion. The three formerly warring nations can barely agree to be evacuated to a single planet if needed, and shift blame for the arms race that, as Jonas and Carter's research shows, caused the Naquadah from the founding Goa'uld Thanos to transform into fatally unstable Naquadriah. As a last resort, a deep diving machine is hastily reactivated to attempt turning the bomb off, which proves a hugely perilous expedition with a suicidal finale.—KGF Vissers
