- A Prior of the Ori has established an ever-growing forcefield on a Jaffa-controlled planet called Kalana. A minor Goa'uld named Nerus, who engineered the multiple Gate connections required for the defeat of the Replicators, comes to the SGC with information on the event and offers his help.—trekkie4christ
- A Prior of the Ori arrives on a newly liberated planet now controlled by the Jaffa. When the locals flatly refuse to accept the Ori as their gods, the Prior erects a force field around the gate - which is in continuous operation. The SGC receives an offer from Nerus, who once served Ba'al, to assist them in defeating this new threat. SG-1 - with Lt. Col. Samantha Carter - set off to try and defeat this new threat to the galaxy. Gerak and his Free Jaffa, however, decides to take action on their own which only complicates the situation. The force field is expanding and the explosive device SG-1 places at the gate only seems to expand it further. Nerus has clearly set them up but Vala thinks she has a solution.—garykmcd
- After an Ori Prior is told the free Jaffa on planet Kallana refuse to convert, he demonstrates the Ori power to resist all fire by establishing an impenetrable dome of unprecedented energy. Given this military challenge, General Landry eagerly agrees to exorbitant, hedonistic (mainly food) demands from Ba'al's former junior Goa'uld inventor, Nerus, who promises to help defeat this Ori threat while praising the 'superior' Tau'ri power, and regretting the absence of most original SG-1 members; only Carter rejoins shortly after his arrival. Vala's warning against such collaboration seems to come true as Nerus merely advises launching maximum fire on the dome, then triumphantly-ironically thanking them for thus assisting an otherwise impossible, unspecified feat.—KGF Vissers
