- A rabbi tries to exorcise a dybbuk, or demon in Jewish mythology, from a possessed Jewish woman. Three young ecologists locate a strange dead zone in the middle of a forest, that somehow causes rapid aging.
- Transient - In a synagogue, during the prayer for the dead, a Jewish woman enters and attempts to strike down the congregation in the manner of a demon. After the Rabbi subdues her, she falls into a trance and Doyle, Hendricks, Axon, Constantine and team are brought in to investigate. The Rabbi attempts a form of exorcism, which doesn't go to plan, and after leaving a burning handprint, the Rabbi leaves, attacking Axon on the way out. They deduce that the demon is a 'divik' (sp?) which changes hosts on eye-contact. Constantine and Axon discover the Rabbi desperately trying to control it, but the divik changes host, killing the Rabbi in the process. It has jumped into a cab driver who the team track down and neutralise but the entity has already moved on.
Two Lost Old Men - Rangers find an old man, Doug Kilmartin, stumbling out of the woods. His ID says that he is 21 years old. Doyle, Hendricks, Donner, Axon and team investigate and find Doug's colleague who is also 50 years older than his ID. Kilmartin insists there is a third person, a woman, and that the ageing happened after finding a dead zone with no growth, just sand. The team sends a probe in which discovers a skeleton, the missing girl. The team discover that there is an energy in the area, and Donner believes that the energy fluctuates as if breathing. Elsinger brings research to a halt before the team can discover any more, and the area is encased in a steel and concrete vault.
