Featured review
Pest control, Bundy style.
Peggy sees a mouse in the house and wants to call an exterminator, but Al reckons he can save money by dealing with the rodent problem himself. Of course, all of Al's attempts to catch the mouse fail, and the damage caused by the animal in the meantime amounts to hundreds of dollars.
Once again, Al allows male pride to get in the way of common sense, with neighbour Steve joining in on the mouse hunt. It all goes horribly wrong, of course, Steve getting a face full of poison and Al resorting to Rambo tactics, causing all sorts of damage to the basement but still managing to be outsmarted by the mouse. In the end, Peggy gets an exterminator in to do things properly, and she finally overcomes her lifelong fear of rodents by taking a look at the whiskery troublemaker.
Not a bad episode, but still a long way from the best that the season has to offer. And if you ask me, it wasn't a mouse, it was a rat!
