This episode of Magnum, The Man from Marseilles, is a pop culture landmark. That's because it's probably one of the first TV episodes (and even movie perhaps) to portray karaoke. I can't remember when I first heard of karaoke, but it was probably in the late 80s and it was also immortalized in The Simpsons episode One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish which debuted in 1991.
I loved the scene of Magnum singing Misty, and Tom Selleck is not a half-bad singer in my humble opinion.
