Happy endings
Charles takes the two orphaned children back to Walnut Grove. They stay in the Ingalls home - four kids in one attic - and to think it was small when two little girls moved in there in Season One! But they didn't complain because they cared about each other. As the weeks passed, they grew to love each other like a family. Then Bad news...er...good news came - someone wanted to adopt the children.
As expected though, the family wasn't a big, happy family.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Mary in this episode. I'd forgotten she made an appearance. But the thing that really bugged me was Laura still having a flat stomach. I mean, even if this episode happened right AFTER the last episode, she was three months pregnant when Dr. Baker announced it, I believe. As the weeks passed, she should have been showing some sign of pregnancy.
And that annoyance only gets work next season when Laura actually goes on a trip ALL SUMMER and doesn't show a sign of being pregnant. Did the writer's forget she was pregnant or something?
Well, good-bye to another great season!
