I found it interesting that the actors playing the 'German publisher' and his son have no other credits than this episode. They seemed competent enough actors, maybe they came from the German stage. ;-)
As is typical for Legend episodes, Legend's solutions to the story's problems keep getting him deeper and deeper, along the pattern of the Old Lady who Swallowed a Fly.
Here a German publisher arrives and wants Legend to take him and his son on a buffalo hunt. Legend accidentally takes them to an area that really does have some buffalo and finds he can't drive the buffalo away ... as he doesn't really want to be party to slaughtering him. Then he must talk native Arapaho out of killing the Germans, then he has to scare the Germans away with a legendary buffalo spirit, it just gets deeper and deeper.
And as is usual for the show, Anderson gets in quite a few amusing sarcastic digs, but one of the 'Arapaho' extras gets the funniest line of the show in a translation caption. :-)
