This was the last episode to be filmed at Paramount Studios.
Throughout this series mention is made of the Germans pilfering the Red Cross packages sent to PoWs. This was actually a very serious problem, especially toward the end of the war. This is the second time to feature Col. Robert Hogan's birthday. The first being Hogan Gives a Birthday Party (1966). In neither one it is said how old Hogan is.
Actor John Stephenson's voice can be heard narrating the news shorts being shown in the movie theater Hogan and LeBeau meet the underground agent.
LeBeau, in bad taste, teases Schultz about the secrecy of the submarine pens at Bremerhaven. The Nazi Navy base, Kriegsmarine, was the most important submarine base the Germans had. In June 1942 a night raid with over 900 Allied bombers flattened Kriegsmarine and about 80% of Bremenhaven.
