Mark attends the funeral of an old girl friend, only to be surprised later to receive a message from her on his answering machine. After searching for evidence to her supposed "death," Mark and the judge find political reasons may be to blame for her disappearance. The girlfriend then turns up and then all hell breaks loose with senator's henchmen on their case.
A slightly odd episode with coffins, funeral parlour and a lady supposedly dead but isn't - it has enough mystery, but I liked the poignancy of teen love ending, and McCormick still not understanding why he was dumped. There's the usual car chases, shootouts and a costume party with the judge dressed up in an admiral costume.
