"Gargoyles" Broadway Goes to Hollywood (TV Episode 1996) Poster

Keith David: Goliath

Quotes

  • Goliath : The tempting siren song of fame has shipwrecked countless humans on the jagged rocks of disillusion. The yearning to feel the eyes of the world upon you is buried deep in the hearts of creatures whose lives too often feel the cold drag of anonymity. Gargoyles are not immune to these emotions, or their consequences.

  • Goliath : Where's Broaday?

Angela : What's gotten into him? It's almost dawn!

Brooklyn : He's gone. And you're not going to belive his note.

[Brooklyn hands the note to Goliath. Goliath starts reading the note]

Goliath : "Hi Guys, I know this is going to sound strange but by the time you read this I'll be..." WHAT?

    [turns to stone]

  • Goliath : [Wakes up and continues reading Broadway's note]  "Flying out to Hollywood!"

    Brooklyn : Yeah, Hollywood.

Hudson : The lad was always a might starstruck.

  • David Xanatos : I know how fast she moves, Hugo. What about the cybernetic armor?

Hugo : She must have had it with her all along, sir, just in case.

David Xanatos : Devoted wife, mother, one-woman vigilante, what a woman.

    [Hangs up notices Goliath]

David Xanatos : Goliath. How long have you been standing there?

Goliath : Long enough to know we share the same dilemma. We have no way to help our loved ones.

David Xanatos : No. No way at all. For once, I don't know what to do.

Goliath : Have faith. Faith that Broadway and Fox *will* know what to do.

  • Fox : The buzz is so good! I'm getting calls from every network! They're *begging* for more stuff on gargoyles. And he just wants to be home.

Goliath : Perhaps getting what he wanted, helped Broadway to realize what it was that he truly needed.
